Pilgrimage to the 88 Kanto Sacred Sites

Tue, Jan 30

|

Sumida Ward

This is a one-day bus pilgrimage to the 88 sacred sites across one metropolis and six prefectures in the Kanto region. The Kanto 88 Sacred Sites were established as official copies of the Shikoku 88 Sacred Sites and are also known as the Togoku Pilgrimage. Departure is at 8:30am from Kinshicho Station. Unlike travel agencies, participants are treated like friends and can visit the temple while learning about pilgrimages, Buddhism, and traditional Japanese beliefs. Of course, the guide will be the priest of Kanzaki-ji Temple. Kanzaki-ji Temple is the 44th temple of the Kanto 88 Sacred Sites, so the hospitality at the temple is very warm. Let's go on a pilgrimage together once a month.
